About Us

The Parker family originally started in the marine industry in 1927 selling Johnson outboards and boats in Ashville, North Carolina. Eventually Roy Parker Sr. moved the business to Orlando Florida with his son Roy Parker Jr. becoming the second generation to run the business. In 2008 Roy expanded the business to the coast and opened their second dealership in Daytona Beach, Florida. Bobby Parker, third generation was a premier yacht salesman and in 2013 opened his own brokerage company in The Halifax Harbor Marina.

With Bobby’s knowledge of the boating business and his personal passions for the water he took an opportunity to combine these by purchasing his own Freedom Boat Club franchise. Bobby and his team have grown his franchise to 5 locations with over 1000 members in the past 9 years. With the growth of the business and the buying and selling requirements that the club needed, Bobby decided to get back into the retail boat business.

Three generations later and almost a century of the “Parker Family” in the boat business we introduce “Parker Marine.” The Parker Marine family is here to serve your boating needs. We have what some call the “water gene.” If we aren’t around the dealership, you will probably find us on the water with our family and friends. We look forward to helping many more families create memories that will last a lifetime.
